Our goal is to promote and celebrate Monterey County’s top high school football scholar-athletes.

The National Football Foundation (NFF) is a national organization that promotes and celebrates the complete scholar athlete primarily through recognition and scholarships. The NFF is also the home of the College Football Hall of Fame. To supplement its national efforts to celebrate college scholar athletes, the NFF has a network of local chapters that promote the complete scholar athlete at the high school level.

The objectives of the Central Coast Chapter are:

To preserve the spirit of football, its character-building attributes and its vital role in the education process;
To foster the development of scholarship and leadership, and to recognize these qualities and resultant accomplishments both on and off the playing field;
To hold an annual Scholar-Athlete recognition ceremony to recognize these qualified student-athletes and other contributors to amateur athletics in Central California, and to sponsor other meetings and events throughout the year for the benefit of the membership;
To promote the candidacies of deserving players and coaches for induction in to the College Football Hall of Fame.
